Calligraphy has always been a passion of mine since I was a child. While it was never a job for me, I never stopped learning and exploring difficult calligraphy challenges.
Here, I’m mixing my experience in design, taste of the calligraphy letters to create something new, based on the authentic base.
Being legible is not my mane focus. Rather, letting my self go freely, in putting on words with lots of memories in my life, in just a new way.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Going through a very different emotional experience, I developed a state of mind that forced me to work for eight consecutive hours in a row, creating almost 30 images in one night. Using memories captured in images that had been shot over the years, I merged, collaged, blended, and excluded them to reach something I couldn't do any more. It could be nice, or maybe not... but it was a straight from the heart expression. Sometimes, I feel that they are not ready to be presented yet, as they are not mature enough as art, but I believe I will never go through this feeling again.
These are a few image clicks I made, a few brushstrokes mixed in my memory path. I can easily say that each tile represents a step I took somewhere or someone I met (or didn't). I will keep adding and removing tiles as long as I'm still here. Yeah, that's life - you meet new people and you forget others.
